Woah, hey dA it's been a while!!!
Well I'm all graduated now, I got my B.A.A in Illustration at Sheridan College this past April, I've been working on a few projects (my own jewelry line, amongst others!) and moved back to Montreal since then. I completed a steampunk themed commission for the Toronto-based costume designer Victoria Wilson www.victoriawilsoncorsets.com/, which I will upload soon. It's going to appear on her website, I'm super stoked to see what she does with it! I'm currently focusing on my health (I've had a few issues I need to work on) and looking for different kinds of work (aside from artwork). Eventually I would like to be producing paintings to show in galleries and hopefully working at a studio in the entertainment industry, as well as selling my jewelry at craft fairs but all in due time
Also I am really wide open for commissions, I'd love to work on more collaborations and I am also selling prints on society6 for those who are interested! society6.com/NicoleBilodeau

Its 1 am and I have work at 8 tomorrow.
work work work work WORK WORK!!! I love being in those "i cant go to bed until all the paint on my palette is GONE!!" moods, haha. Its so crazy and weird that sometimes we (and by we I mean I) can feel just the opposite. Does that make me a bad artist?
Im applying to the Beaconsfield Art Exhibition! I hope its not too late for me!!

Art Sabbatical

Hey friends,
So many of you are aware (and some not) that I have been battling myself in my head over whether or not to continue next semester at Sheridan or not, and it has been a very harrowing decision.
It looks like I will be taking the winter semester to work through my issues, get a better sense of what direction I want to pursue with my work, and build up my portfolio. I have so many inklings and ambitions and I have to get ahold of which ones to pursue.
Also I will have lots of time for comissions so if you are interested give me a shout! I can work either realistically, or fantasy/sci-fi inspired, and I am open to different ideas. Contact me for pricing!!
