Original Character 01 W.I.P. by wikkedvenus Original Character 01 W.I.P. by wikkedvenus
Another digital painting in the works, as well as a learning exercise. Im going to crank out more characters and sometime I'm going to create a story for them :F yay!!

This is kind of my response to FMA's Winry, a bit steampunk-inspired XD love the genre! :3

The biggest thing I can critique on is probably the right (our left) arm. It feel like it bends in an unnatural way. It should be straighter on the back of the arm. Also, the navel doesn't seem like its in the right place. Even if you twist your body slightly there should be signs of stretching on da bellybutton. =3 The design is interesting and I can't wait to see how you build her up. =3

Yeah! You work and work and work and then your eyes get screwy and you don't see the stuff you should! D:

By the way, with warm weather slowly making tiny appearances... I wonder if we should organize a get-together some time soon? =3

Kinda like wat you usually say to me: shadows need to be much darker, black in some cases, to make more contrast. There's just a whole lot of brown going on. Also, the left shoulder is a tad too protruding. That might look ok for a muscleman, but it looks a bit off for a ladytype.

The shading and expression everywhere is really good though, and of course, the overall design I really like.
